For one week starting today, VICE is all about exploring the good/useless/weird ways we try to fix our flawed selves and enhance our stupidly complicated lives.

From brain-boosting nootropics to the New Age obsession that is healing crystals, we'll be trialling tools that promise self-betterment. We'll see if it's possible to use polyphasic sleep techniques to stay awake for 22 hours a day, and test "psychic massage" for its claim to heal our backs and our minds.
