Desus and Mero Have Some Questions About the H&M Hoodie Controversy

Who thought it was OK to put a black kid in a "coolest monkey in the jungle" sweatshirt anyway?

H&M is king of disposable clothing, random celebrity collaborations, fake Coachella merch, and, most recently, racist ad campaigns.

After the clothing brand put an image of a black child model wearing a "coolest monkey in the jungle" sweatshirt on its website, people grew rightfully outraged at its racist connotations. Although the company apologized for the ad (or possible publicity stunt), the backlash didn't end as celebrities like LeBron James, The Weeknd, G-Eazy, and others chastised and/or cut ties with H&M.

After learning about the controversy, VICELAND hosts Desus and Mero aired a few of their pressing questions on Tuesday's episode. Whose idea was this? Where the hell were this kid's parents? And is H&M from Sweden or does Mero just like flexing his European accent skills?
