When we first heard DJ Mustard's Travis Scott-featuring "Whole Lotta Lovin" in early January, we knew it was going to be a hit, thanks to the former's signature synth lines and the latter's Auto-Tuned crooning (the rapper interpolating CeCe Peniston's 1991 chart-topping classic "Finally" didn't hurt its chances either). Now we're premiering the official remix, which comes courtesy of French producer (and THUMP favourite) LeMarquis, who was handpicked for the task by the Los Angeles hitmaker himself."On this remix I tried to add my own to Travis Scott's vocals by making an uptempo, house beat," LeMarquis tells THUMP. "At the end of the song I changed it and turned the remix into a more dreamy trap style, as a tribute to the way Travis sang over Mustard's beat.""When I heard LeMarquis' remix of "Last Night A DJ Saved My Life," I thought the vibe was dope," adds DJ Mustard. "I've been looking for a way for us to work together so I'm excited that he was able to do a remix."Listen to the song below.LeMarquis is on Facebook // Twitter // SoundCloudDJ Mustard is on Facebook // Twitter // SoundCloudMax Mertens is on Twitter.
