If a picture is worth a thousand words, Drake has authored countless novels. Without confirmation from Drake himself, it’s difficult to decipher what, if any, hidden messages lie within the post timing, caption content, and image composition. Maybe Drake just prefers to let the photos speak for themselves. And speak they do. His feed stands out as one of the most aesthetically cohesive in rap thanks to his careful curation. It wouldn’t be Drake without managing to self-own mid-flex, so amidst all the opulence his lifestyle has to offer, corny shit abounds too, but who cares? No matter what anyone says, he’s doing something right: he boasts a following of 37.9 million, bigger than the populations of small countries like Portugal, Cuba, and Belgium combined, making him the 38th most followed Instagram user out of hundreds of millions. Not bad.
On this episode of October’s Very Owned, Noisey’s intern and Drake’s Instagram expert Tiffany Wines joins hosts Eric Sundermann and Dan Ozzi to make a digital dash into the world of the one and only @champagnepapi. Below are the ‘grams mentioned on this episode.
