Drag Queens Trixie and Katya Put Their Friendship to the Test

It’s Valentine’s Day, and whether you like it or not, love is in the air. Despite what heteronormative society wants us to think, there are various versions of “love” far outside the binary of romantic and familial. In fact, one of the greatest kinds of love is self-love. Lucky for us, it’s also this week’s theme on THE TRIXIE & KATYA SHOW.

While self-love can often be a challenging feat, it’s an important one worth trying. Self-love is about getting to know yourself, being your own pal, and accepting your flaws (or at least tolerating them). You know, kind of like your friends do.

Whether you keep a small circle of confidantes or an army of associates, you know how valuable a bond between two like-minded individuals can be. If you’re lucky enough to have friendships like Trixie’s or Katya’s, even though your friends may not always like you, you know they’ll always love you…right?

In this scene from THE TRIXIE & KATYA SHOW, we test the strength of our hosts’ friendship in a little game called “Bestie Test(e)” (no, it has nothing to do with anatomy). In this game, Trixie and Katya test how well they really know one another. The ladies both answer personal questions, one providing their own personal answer while the other answers with what they think their friend will say. Needless to say, we get some interesting responses.

What’s Trixie’s most annoying quality? Surely, given the stock of footage we have from UNHhhh and previous episodes of THE TRIXIE & KATYA SHOW, you may think Katya would be most infuriated by her counterpart’s habit of interrupting. However, Katya seems to think “being a bitch” is just as good of an answer. Hey, everybody’s got opinions.

Cozy up to yourself tonight and watch THE TRIXIE & KATYA SHOW, 10:30 PM on VICELAND.
