Unlike many of our photographer contributors, Gregory Halpern is not based in New York City. He makes most of his photos Upstate in Buffalo, New York—home of the National Buffalo Wing Festival. He’s published three books of photography, most recently A, which was released in 2011 and published by J&L Books. And he also teaches Photography at the Rochester Institute of Technology and at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. This selection of photos features shots of a spiderweb amid a backdrop of trees, a country landscape from an aerial view, and a home with a very active chimney.
