Argentina’s Illya Kuryaki & The Valderramas Spin Seapunk Into Seafunk In Their New Video

While the whole “seapunk” thing has apparently left its humble beginnings for pop-star adoption, the above video from Argentinean outfit Illya Kuryaki & The Valderramas throws their own spin on the weird, warped fad. Seafunk, anyone?

The band released the video for “Ula-Ula” along with their seventh studio album, Chances. Directors Luciano Cieza & Hernan Corera went heavy with a variety of colors, various graphic effects, glitch art and references to 60s imagery. An explosion of visual flavors.
