[Sigh.] Bill Nye the Science Guy has weighed in on the Patriots deflated footballs, specifically Bill Belichick’s book report yesterday, and guess what? Bill Nye the Science Guy says that Belichick’s explanation doesn’t make any sense. Never mind that it wasn’t actually an explanation of how those specific balls got deflated, but rather a 20-minute, obfuscating fuck you to everyone making him talk about this, but Bill Nye doesn’t think you can change the pressure of a football by rubbing it. Bill Nye doesn’t think it. If the goddamned Science Guy doesn’t know whether rubbing balls can change the pressure, what are we even talking about, here?
Anyway, Bill Nye says the only way to deflate a football is to deflate a football. We have one full week before the Super Bowl.
