It’s music’s biggest night!!! So we’re kicking things off with a big-ass performance. The show’s opening number enlisted Camila Cabello, J Balvin, Young Thug, and Ricky Martin for an impressively choreographed rendition of “Havana,” with bits of Balvin’s “Mi Gente” sprinkled throughout. The whole thing was vibrantly staged, echoing both West Side Story and Lionel Richie’s “All Night Long” video. Fun stuff! Grammys opening numbers are traditionally ambitious efforts—look back on Kendrick Lamar’s opening medley from last year—and this is no exception. Not a bad start. Watch it below.
