Cars! Fire! Coke References! That’s Right, It’s Young Thug, 2 Chainz, Wiz Khalifa, and PnB Rock’s Video for “Gang Up”

“Gang Up” isn’t the worst song on the new Fate of the Furious soundtrack. That questionable honor goes to Lil Uzi Vert, Quavo, and Travis Scott’s “Go Off,” a series of verses seemingly improvised while Fast and Furious PR interns held up cue cards for the trio to work from (“Cars!” “Ride!” “Race!” “Propane!” “High-Speed!” “Chase!”) That doesn’t mean that “Gang Up,” the Fate offering from Young Thug, 2 Chainz, Wiz Khalifa, and PnB Rock, is good. It’s still a ponderous waste of two of the world’s best rappers and one some of its most intriguing characters.

The video dropped this afternoon. They’re on a racetrack. There are some cars. Fire! Yes, there’s also fire. It’s not fun or absurd like a Fast movie, it’s not as aesthetically fascinating as Young Thug’s Instagram page, and it’s not as fun as hearing 2 Chainz do just about anything else in the world. Still, if you like cars, there are at least two of them. And you can watch it by clicking through below.
