Charli XCX May Release Another Mixtape Featuring Carly Rae Jepsen and More

Charli XCX is always cooking something up. Earlier this year, she reportedly made an album in a weekend, and now, as End of Year lists make the rounds and everyone starts to wrap up for the holidays, she’s threatening to drop another mixtape, just to fuck with us all.

And it’s not just any mixtape. If Charli’s Twitter account is to be believed, the hypothetical follow-up to March’s excellent Number 1 Angel is a heavy hitter. She’s hinted that it’ll feature a veritable buffet of pop names, from genre queen Carly Rae Jepsen, to Number 1 Angel co-conspirator CupcaKke, by way of Tove Lo, Mykki Blanco, Brooke Candy, and about a billion more people:

Following Charli’s tweet, a fan account for PC Music (a collective to which producers SOPHIE, AG Cook, and Charli herself are linked) claimed to have the as-yet-untitled tape’s track listing:

It’s unclear whether this predicted track list is correct (it’s possible that Charli will have seen the above tweet and changed the tape up as a result, if its predictions were indeed right), but if it is released it’s going to mean business. If anyone needs me I’ll be holding a candlelit vigil until this comes out and if you have any tips on how to not let your head explode, I’d appreciate them on the day of release, whenever that may be.
