That’s right—”classical,” not “classic.” Dysphemic and Miss Eliza are an Australian duo fusing Bach and EDM, Mozart and DnB, and thus far I don’t think anyone else has tried to crowd them out of their niche—possibly with good reason. But good for them for trying. I mean, where else would you expect a beat producer and the daughter of violinist Julian Quirit who fell in love at a rave in Melbourne to land musically?
The video’s a mashup of Mortal Kombat, 8-bit video games, Dance Dance Revolution, and something like the live performance of I Am Legion crossed with Antonio Vivaldi… together at Burning Man. C’mon, we’ve got to have piqued your interest with that description.
