The “Joven Clubs” are where kids can learn to use computers. They can use a Facebook clone that works only within Cuba (and is government run) and download the “Mochila,” a USB drive of files that are pirated by the computer government and given out in these clubs.

They are not connected to the internet but have a Cuban intranet network, where kids can play games like World of Warcraft and Halo. They even have their own intra-Cuban ladders and tournaments. There are a few over 1,000 of these in Cuba.
The terminals may be the kids’ main—if not only—point of contact for learning computing.
And of course there are games.
World of Warcraft? You got it.
At the very least it’s a good incentive to get kids to use computers.
