Experimental musicians Dedekind Cut and Yves Tumor today teamed up to share a new mixtape called Trump$America, recorded live at the studios of Berlin Community Radio. The 37-minute session is split into two parts, and also features an artist called lowlife scum—who can be heard introducing the second section—as well as an appearance NON WORLDWIDE co-founder Chino Amobi.
Trump$America zig-zags through a number of styles ranging from noise-coated ambient to K-pop, and squeezes in tracks by Lil Uzi Vert, Britney Spears, and an ASMR videos sample. The artists provide live commentary occasionally, too, referencing everything from “virgin killer” family members to French philosopher Georges Bataille. As they wind things up, they announce that they’ve gone over their allotted time, but, “This is Trump’s America, nothing even matters anymore.”
