Aussie trio DMA’s have been drawing Oasis comparisons ever since they donned baggy tracksuit jackets and began wooing fans with their yearning Britpop stylings back in 2014. They even managed to piss off one of the Gallagher brothers before he’d ever heard their music, so they must be doing something right.

Now, the Newtown-based groups has released a revamped version of early buzz builder “Delete,” ahead of their much anticipated debut Hill’s End, which drops February 26 on Mom+Pop in North America, Infectious in the UK, and IOHYOU in Australia. The track starts innocuously enough, with sing-song verses and acoustic guitar strums, but then unfurls into a lush pop ballad that’s just begging to soundtrack the next finally-giving-in-to-love sequence you secretly cry to at the movies.
“We have built and added graphics to the old clip, for the album version of “Delete,” says frontman Tommy O’Dell. “Essentially that’s what we have done with the song, so visually it makes sense to do the same. We love this clip as it was one of the first we did, it’s all shot by our friend Mitch Grant at 37 Buckland Lane, Newtown (where most of the album was recorded).”
