G.E.M., the ‘Taylor Swift of China,’ Shares Her Plan for Total World Domination

G.E.M. is one of the biggest pop stars in China. She’s the face of Apple Music and Maybelline and has played for 30,000 people in Beijing in one night. For the past year, G.E.M. has been bringing her act to America. She’s attended New York Fashion Week, played at the Forum in Los Angeles, and recorded new music videos across Southern California.

She’s known as the “Taylor Swift of China” and is already landing leading roles in films. Last year, she was assigned the role of Sleeping Beauty for Ross Venokur’s animated film, Charming, where she will star alongside Demi Lovato, Ashley Tisdale, and Avril Lavigne.
