We all know about the iconic soundtracks of the Fast and Furious films, and it looks as though the music for the latest instalment might just topple the great Tokyo Drift soundtrack from its reigning spot. With tracks featuring everyone from Migos to Kehlani (and, of course, Pitbull), the soundtrack for The Fate of the Furious will be a pretty jam packed affair, and it seems that after eight (yeah) films, whoever organises these things has finally got the formula down to a tee.
The first song from the album to be released was “Go Off” which featured Quavo, Lil Uzi Vert and Travis Scott, and it’s been followed up today by the boppy “Gang Up” – a link up between Young Thug, 2 Chainz, Wiz Khalifa and PnB Rock. It’s a fun build of a track that sounds like it will probably soundtrack some aerial shots of a city or the beginning of a scrap between rival car squads or something else that happens in Fast and Furious films and is also extremely serious.
