Boris Johnson Has Become a Daddy for at Least the 7th Time

Boris and Carrie Johnson have announced the birth of a daughter, a spokesperson for the UK Prime Minister and his wife has said.

Carrie Johnson gave birth to the baby at a London hospital on Thursday. Their spokesperson said: “Both mother and daughter are doing very well. The couple would like to thank the brilliant NHS maternity team for all their care and support.”

The baby girl is a sister to the couple’s son Wilfred, who was born in April last year. 

The news comes four days into a chaotic week for the UK Prime Minister, which saw him dress up as a police officer on Monday to launch the UK’s new drugs strategy, apologise for a leaked video of a senior adviser making light of COVID restrictions, and promise an investigation into whether multiple Christmas parties took place last year in his own residence.

And hours before the baby’s birth was announced, the UK’s elections watchdog the Electoral Commission fined Johnson’s Conservative Party almost £18,000 for failing to properly report a donation that funded redecorating the Johnsons’ Downing Street flat.

Boris Johnson is now thought to have at least seven kids: two with his current wife and four – all in their 20s – with his second wife the barrister Marina Wheeler.

He also fathered at least one child from an affair with property developer Helen Macintyre.

After years of refusing to discuss how many kids he had, earlier this year he told US broadcaster NBC he had six children.
