I’m just going to put it out there-HNNY make some of the most fun-soaked house music in the entire damn world. Packing a playful, classically-Swedish vibe in his tunes, one that’s akin to the quirky, effervescent DNA of another Scandanavian treasure, Todd Terje, the producer has come correct with stellar release after stellar release. Over the past handful of years he’s brought his talents to such labels as his own newly minted Yummy, Pets Recordings, Local Talk, and now for the second time running-Let’s Play House.
His former 2013 release for the much-loved NYC house hotbed, Mys/Kela, helped spark the producer and DJ’s career at large, and now, just in time for the spring solstice of 2015, he’s back with another 12″ that’s characterized by the same fun-loving, carefree brand of house.

Dropping in April, Solsidan/Alby (the A-side of which is glistening above) is littered with the producer’s tactic of crisp percussion, creamy basslines, and hot springs of sublime vocals samples. There’s even sounds of chirping birds, and gentle Swedish mumbling.
Hit play on the new tune above-it’s delicious, juicy, and yes, sweet as…. well you get the idea.
HNNY releases ‘Solsidan/Alby’ on Let’s Play House April 20, with remixes from Avalon Emerson and Ana Helder.
