Justin Timberlake Releases New Single “Supplies,” Remains Not Country

Justin Timberlake has released the second single from his forthcoming fifth studio album, Man of the Woods. Despite a thousand hastily constructed op-eds accusing him of going full Miley Cyrus and one weird evening of entomophagy, “Supplies” is about as country as umbrella drinks and sushi. It opens with an anecdote about meeting someone “on Broadway” and was produced, like most of the record, by the Neptunes. The video, which you can watch at the top of the page, gives us a sci-fi nightmare of gun necklaces and cult worship beaten back by protestors in “PUSSY GRABS BACK” shirts.

To quote Timberlake: “Yeah, okay.”
