Will Lindsay Lohan Bone James Deen in the New Bret Easton Ellis Film?

Earlier this year, VICE Films and Grolsch Film Works teamed up to make a three-part film called The Fourth Dimension. A mindfuck brief was written by VICE’s creative director Eddy Moretti and delivered to three of the world’s most acclaimed filmmakers; Harmony Korine, Alexey Fedorchenko and Jan Kwiecinski. The results were cinematic dynamite. Paul Schrader, writer of Taxi Driver and director of American Gigolo, is making a film with Lindsay Lohan – rub your eyes and re-read if you wish. On top of that he’s gone and cast porn star James Deen (that’s D-EE-n, not D-EA-n, obviously). The film, entitled The Canyons, was penned by American Psycho author Bret Easton Ellis and is said to be about a “small group of young twentysomethings trying to make it in Los Angeles”.

JASON LEE IS A RAD SKATER, DUH

He’s Earl from My Name is Earl and you may also recognise him from Vanilla Sky, Mallrats and Almost Famous. But back in the day, Jason Lee was known as one of the better skaters in town, dropping a legendary video part in Blind’s Video Days, directed by a then lesser-known director called Spike Jonze. If you’re a skateboarder, you probably already know this, but did you know that Lee also appears on a skateboard in Sonic Youth’s “100%” music video? No, didn’t think so.
