From the opening guitar riff on Exwife‘s “Rituals,” you can hear the obvious Nirvana influences, but as the develops, there’s a delightfully surprising progression into a whole new take on the 90s grunge reinvention—as if Kurt Cobain were fed through a Clockwork Orange-style treatment of the past 20 years of music.
