Listen to Nervous Nellie’s New Track: “Shoulder”

Using your art to work through your issues is nothing new. Shitty relationships that translate into soul-crushing despair is a popular source of inspiration, but Sweden’s Nervous Nellie continue to be concerned with events that occurred before they started sprouting pubes. You know, the formative years. This quartet is made up of two sets of brothers, two of which were plucked from Chicago when they were kids and taken—by their parents, not kidnappers—to Sweden. This is a great thing because they probably now speak five languages and the healthcare over there is stellar. However, this move and their subsequent sense of displacement has informed much of Nervous Nellie’s music since. (No word on what concerns the other two bros are working through, but we trust this will come out in time.)
