Man Punches Kangaroo, Saves His Dog From Getting Choked Out

The history of humans fighting Kangaroos is as vast as it is disgusting. The reason we have exploited these animals is simple: kangaroos sort of know how to fight. So do bears, and both animals have been forced to put on boxing gloves and go toe-to-toe with everyone from serious boxers to amateurs like Woody Allen—all for the amusement of the kind of idiots you would find nowadays at SeaWorld.

Most of the forced fighting went down in in the early 1890s, but according to a video recently released on the Internet, the classic style matchup of humans versus kangaroos is still alive and well.

In the video, a man’s dog is getting “choked out” by a kangaroo and he rushes to intervene. Before you scoff at the idea of a marsupial knowingly applying a submission hold, watch the video below:

After the man arrives at the scene, the kangaroo let’s go of his dog but seems to square up as if to say, “What? You want some of this too?!” The man responds by getting into stance, and hitting the Kangaroo in the face.

The kangaroo just sort of looks at him in disgust and the man walks away, having gained the divine wisdom that punching animals is weird.
