It’s finally here; the moment we’ve all been waiting for. On Thursday, NASA set up official GIPHY and Pinterest accounts, thereby flooding the internet with high-quality space porn. Say goodbye to productivity, and welcome the new, improved, and gifable cosmos.

NASA’s presence on social sites like GIPHY and Pinterest is crucial for public outreach, sure, but it also offers a way for space science to get in on the power of memeification. GIFS are practically their own kinetic language at this point, and by becoming fluent, NASA has tapped into the internet’s insatiable appetite for dank memes. The next time I want to describe TFW or feel the need to SMDH about something, it’s good to know the world’s leading spaceflight agency has my back.
