Noisey Radio on on Apple Music’s Beats 1 continues to barrel through January with episode 28 this weekend, which features an eclectic array of brand new music and appearances from exciting guests. The show opens with a mix featuring new music from dearly departed music, film, and fashion titan David Bowie, from his stunning farewell album Blackstar, scrappy indie rockers Yuck, up-and-coming Toronto rapper Tre Capital, Florida rhymer Kodak Black, and more.
After the mix, we sit down with Cali singer/rapper Anderson .Paak, inaugural subject of our new weekly artist showcase series Noisey Next, who, over the last year, rode the buzz from a prime guest spot on Dr. Dre’s Compton album into the excellent, just-released solo album Malibu. After that chat, we’ll speak with LA singer-songwriter Nana Felix, who dropped by our studio to play some brand new songs for us.
