The Internet Announce UK/EU Tour
Videos by VICE
Whilst the majority of OFWGKTA’s output rests upon the shoulders of Tyler, it’s Syd, aka. one half of The Internet, who has cemented their sound. She’s the introspective in the background producer. The female Pharrell who makes jams so irresistibly sexy I want to run a bubble bath for them and make sensual love after. It’s DEFINITELY a good thing then, that The Internet have just announced a run of UK shows for this March. The duo – composed of Syd tha Kyd and Matt Martians – are joined by the equally lascivious Kilo Kish. So, basically, it’s going to be one fat celestial R&B love in. Check the tour dates here.
This Guy Can Play Insane Electric Guitar With His Mouth
Alright, so I started watching this video all like, OK, whatever. The dude can beatbox. But, come 30 seconds and I was pulling my best “WTF” face. It looks like the presenter was too – see 51 seconds in. This guy is insane. I wish I could pack him up in my bag and take him to every party I attend from this date forth. Or, I’d take him down to my local open mic night and set him loose. I reckon THAT would be a lot of fun.
The Primavera Sound Line-Up Looks Amazing
Hear that? That’s the sound of a generations worth of skinny jeans rushing to sort tickets for Primavera Sound 2013. They’d have sense to get a ticket though, it’s amazing. Alongside the baggy jumper wearing sounds of The Postal Service, Grizzly Bear and My Bloody Valentine there’s also Tame Impala, Death Grips, Solange, Crystal Castles, Wu-Tang, DIIV, Fucked Up and Dinosaur JR, plus, a whole host more. It looks like Primavera is the mecca for proper music in 2013. It’ll also be super warm there – fingers crossed – so there’ll be no awkward scraping of mud from your wellies before trying to catch some late night tent action. You’ll probably wake up needing an inhaler though.
Foals Are Going To Give Business Lessons To Teenagers
Yep, Yannis & Co are about to become proper teachers. Thankfully, they’re not putting down their guitars for good as the event is a one off workshop, set to take place at London’s Royal Albert Hall. Can you imagine having Yannis as a teacher? I’d be so entranced by his beard, I wouldn’t be bothered about music tips, I’d just want lessons on how to become a facial hair maestro. The workshop is open to music students from the Islington and Haringey areas, and a live session from the band will follow the workshop. Who says kids from London get an advantage?
Justin Timberlake Is Set To Make His Live Return Soon
The Hollywood Reporter states that JT is set to perform his new single, “Suit and Tie” as part of “DirecTV Super Saturday Night” to be held February 2nd in New Orleans. Despite hearing Jay-Z’s verse on the new track, I’ve still got Timberlake fever. Will he bust out dance moves? You bet. But, even better than body-popping, what if Justin Timberlake premieres a new song? I think the world would probably explode.
