In Philly, people love to ride dirt bikes. If you followed Meek Mill on Instagram before he cowered out and deleted it or just type in the #bikelife tag, you’ll see riders hitting wheelies in traffic and putting on shows more interesting than any official Motocross event ever dreamed of. So it’s only right that Lil Uzi Vert stuck to the code and led police on a dirt bike chase in Atlanta last Thursday. Sadly, he was caught. According to a report by TMZ, in true Grand Theft Auto fashion, the Philadelphia rapper rode sans helmet with a friend onto the sidewalk, and switched through five lanes without signaling, all while leading a high-speed chase behind him.
Unfortunately, he ended up busting his ass while trying to make a miraculous getaway before the cops caught up with him. Police took Uzi in for obstruction, reckless driving, driving without a license, and other traffic violations. He was released on $6,500 bond the following day. Uzi might have gotten booked this time, but it’s still #bikelife forever. Maybe next time, he’ll remember to wear a helmet.
