Rising Swedish vocalist Léon has been earning buzz (and retweets from Katy Perry) as her motherland’s next big pop export since releasing her Treasure EP late last year.

The 22-year-old’s deep, mercurial vocals, girded by production from collaborator Agrin Rahmani, stick with you, whether it’s the bouyant synth pop of “Nobody Cares” or the R&B and house-influenced “Tired of Talking,” amounting to a style the duo dubs “future retro.”
The singer, who is classically trained and at one point considered pursuing a career as a professional cellist, recently re-recorded the EP’s title track for a stripped down acoustic version that offers a raw take on the heartbreak behind its lyrics.
“I’m so happy to share this video. I shot it back in my hometown, Stockholm, with my producer and I really love this version of It,” Léon says. “‘Treasure’ Is one of my favorites to perform and It’s also the title track of my EP. Hope you like this version as much as I do!”
