Reporter Can’t Hide Her Disbelief as Jerry Jones Praises Greg Hardy’s Leadership

The Dallas Cowboys have had a problem with Greg Hardy since Jump Street, but now they really, really, really have problem with Greg Hardy, and for some reason they can’t seem to admit it. Not only did they sign the man who missed a full season after he was accused of viciously attacking his then girlfriend to the point where she hoped to die, but they then looked on as he used his first comments as a member of the team to lecherously talk about Gisele Bundchen and virtually every other woman she knows. He also made a dumb comment about coming out “guns blazing.” Now that Hardy has started attacking teammates and coaches, Jerry Jones is finally speaking up. What’s he saying? That Hardy is out of control? Nope. That’s just good old fashioned leadership is all. Ah.

Here is Greg Hardy leading the Dallas special teams unit, a unit which like every other special teams unit in the league, already has a leader not named Greg Hardy:

And here is Greg Hardy leading the injured Dez Bryant:

And, at the beginning of the video embedded at the top of this post, you can see Greg Hardy acting as the consummate leader as he passive aggressively refuses to answer any questions about his violent temper tantrum, a moment that segues nicely into Jerry Jones’s post-game interview. That’s MMQB reporter Jenny Vrentas serving as the face of a nation as she listens on as Jones praises the leadership this walking menace displayed in attacking several of his employees in full view of 80,000 people and FOX’s video cameras.

“I don’t have any issue with him being involved in motivating or pushing any part of the football team.”

Jerry Jones said that.
