The first single from Tall Ships’ debut album, Gallop is about emotional regret, losing touch and generally not living up to expectations. Sounds about right. After all, Tall Ships are from Cornwall, and every couple of days someone rings VICE to pitch a story about Cornish separatists, but the revolution never bloody happens - it's clearly an area of England destined never to live up to expectations. Well, they can all sit around singing teary karaoke to this, it's heartbreaking and just brought me to tears in the shower.Listen below:
