In a time of omnipresent technology, conceptual artist Esmeralda Kosmatopoulos is asking big questions about being human. In newest , a series on artists featured at in Miami, Kosmatopoulos presents , a series ofsculptures, text works, neons, videos, and digital prints. She says in showing everyday actions with a twist, she’s not necessarily criticizing technology, but challenging the viewer to re-examine what we may take for granted in our constant transcendence of physical frontiers. In looking closely at the intimate nature of our technological interactions, she turns the idea of “here” on its head in totally unexpected ways.
