In THUMP’s review of this year’s first-ever CRSSD Festival, we wrote that the two day San Diego event “captured the moment of a generation moving beyond EDM.” Keep in mind that the music festival circuit in southern California couldn’t be more crowded so, yeah, this is the real deal.
The festival was enough of a success to warrant a 2016 edition at the city’s Waterfront Park, March 5 & 6, and the lineup has just been announced. Odesza, Chet Faker, Loco Dice, Tale Of Us, Hot Since 82, Jamie Jones, and Claude VonStroke will headline, and they’ll receive support from the likes of Gorgon City (playing two sets, both live and as DJs), Gesaffelstein (DJ set), Ben UFO, Julio Bashmore, Green Velvet, Tiga, Skream, and more.
