The Penguins already had one member of D-Generation X on board. After winning their first Cup since 2009 with a 3-1 win over the Sharks on Sunday, they’ve added another.
Triple H took to Twitter to congratulate Pittsburgh on its victory, posting an image of a custom Pens WWE title belt while showing some love for their HBK line of Carl Hagelin, Nick Bonino and Phil Kessel. The HBK line turned DX legend Shawn Michaels into a Penguins super fan, and inspired us to compare the similarities between Kessel and The Heartbreak Kid.

Michaels, of course, wasn’t silent about the win, either, as Marty Jannetty’s old tag-team partner was tweeting up a storm all game and was quick to shout out the HBK-led Pens after their victory.
With all this DX talk, it’s a good excuse to listen to a pair of the better theme songs from the ’90s—Michaels’ “Sexy Boy” entrance song and the classic DX banger.
