TCU got on the board first against Iowa State with this double-pass trick play that left all of the Cyclones defense on one side of the field and all of the Horned Frogs on the other. Quarterback Trevone Boykin fired a lateral pass to wide receiver David Porter at the far sideline, who then threw a wounded duck back across the field to Boykin. The pass didn’t need to be pretty, only catchable, because Boykin was all alone with a convoy protecting him along the sideline.
