Tyler, The Creator Remixes JAY-Z’s ‘4:44’ for “ZIPLOC”

A month on from the release of his fourth studio album, Flower Boy, Tyler, The Creator has released “ZIPLOC,” a remix of JAY-Z’s “4:44.” Over a reconfigured loop of the soulful NO I.D. beat that backed one of the most confessional tracks on JAY-Z’s new album of the same name, Tyler lets loose about loneliness, public perception, and the pitfalls of the record industry. He kills it: “What’s the point of being rich when you wake up alone? / What’s the point of going home when it ain’t nobody there / Fuck that, I grab my bike and phone home in the air / And I pedal through the city with the wide frame steer.”

The track comes out a few hours after Tyler announced a US tour that begins in San Francisco on Halloween and finishes up in Dallas 22 days later. Check out the dates below and listen to “ZIPLOC” at the top of the page.
