Sockweb, the father/daughter duo from Richmond, Indiana, may not seem like the most conventional grindcore band. Maybe it’s because their new music video is entirely comprised of sock-puppets, or maybe it’s because their first viral hit is about breakfast foods, or maybe it’s because vocalist Joanie “Bologna” Young is SIX-FUDGIN-YEARS-OLD, but one listen to this family band and every nightmarish airplane temper tantrum you’ve ever heard suddenly bursts with monolithic metal potential.
