Spike Jonze Talks About His Original Concept for 'Desus & Mero'

The filmmaker and VICELAND creator visited the two late-night hosts to talk history, clubs, and graffiti.

Spike Jonze, famed filmmaker and co-founder of VICELAND, dreamed up what VICE's late-night show would look like. He imagined a sparse set where the two hosts would be what he calls the "graffiti" of the show. With this concept in mind, Desus & Mero, was born.

Now, almost a year after the show launched, Jonze stopped by to talk to the two hosts about how it's progressed, as well as Jackass, clubs, and Desus's mysterious girlfriend.

You can watch last night's Desus & Mero for free online now, and be sure to catch new episodes weeknights at 11 PM on VICELAND.
