Ndamukong Suh Suspended for Stomping, Again (Bonus: History of Suh Stomps Included)

One week after losing their center to a suspension for stomping on a player, the Lions have lost defensive end Ndamukong Suh to a one game suspension for stomping on Aaron Rodgers. As with Dominic Raiola, Suh’s history played a role in the suspension, which will keep him out of Sunday’s playoff game against the Cowboys. This isn’t the first player Suh has intentionally stepped on; this isn’t even the first Green Bay Packer he’s stepped on.

That’s Suh giving the business, and then straight up stomp-kicking then Packers lineman Evan Dietrich-Smith on Thanksgiving 2011. He was suspended two games for that move. Then there was the time he tackled Jay Cutler with a forearm shiver to the head.

Or the time he kicked Matt Schaub in the testicles.

Or the time he tried to twist Jake Delhomme’s head off.

Since 2010, Ndamukong Suh has been fined seven times for player safety violations, including—sure, one more, why not?—a $100,000 fine last year for an illegal low block on Vikings center John Sullivan.
