Even the biggest stars in music have to get political in these times of upheaval and change. At a recent concert stop (most likely from his string of London shows, but it’s unclear), Drake decided to throw his chips on the table by speaking out against Trump’s America. “Every day I wake up and see all this bullshit going in the world, people trying to tear us apart, people trying to make us turn against each other,” he says. He continues by saying that his “proudest moment” is having a diverse audience of “all races and all places” in his crowd.
Of course, Drake plugs his upcoming project More Life while not naming names and vaguely preaching love but he also urges the crowd that “it’s on us to keep this shit together” before concluding with something that sounds like “fuck that man.” Watch the video of Drake’s speech below via Twitter.
