Watch: Joe Biden and Gloria Steinem Discuss the Struggle to End Misogyny in America

As part of VICE's investigation into the epidemic of sexual assault in the US military on 'WOMAN,' the feminist writer and activist meets with the vice president to discuss America's deep-seeded culture of misogyny.

In Gloria Steinem's VICELAND show WOMAN, the feminist writer and activist explores how violence against females in different communities, institutions, and cultures leads to global instability. As part of her recent investigation into the epidemic of sexual assault in the US military, Steinem heads back to the White House, where she led protests years before, to meet with Vice President Joe Biden to discuss America's deep-seated culture of misogyny.

Biden—who has crusaded for women's rights in politics for more than 20 years and launched the "It's On Us" initiative in 2014—talks with Steinem about why sexual assault and violence against women is still prevalent in American society and how bringing men into the conversation can help to stop it.
