Watch Dolce’s Video for “Inez Palema”

Sometimes you have to admit that you’re full of prejudice, and even more importantly, when you’ve been wrong about something.

So here it goes for me.

Dolce - Inez Palema

The first time I met Anna and Leopold, a.k.a. Dolce – two indie musicians from Umeå – they were dressed in cow skin platform shoes and weirdly vintage shirts my grand father would wear at some holiday resort in Mallorca. That was enough for me to make the conclution that Dolce like to play boule or/and hang out at some rock club, with replicated entrance stamps, where they would hang around some old jukebox while browsing Tinder, stealing people’s beers.

Dolce’s first music video is for their track “Inez Palema”. That’s a horse name by the way. It’s something of a spy video for people who want to catch other people’s bets. It’s a mixture of sneaky shots of people betting, horses warming up before the race, and young kids spitting on each other while waiting for their gameoholic parents.

NO, you think. Stop! Don’t be silly. This is an artistic video from some racecourse.

But listen, I happen to know that Anna, the singer in the band, has a secret agent dad. And maybe – just maybe – he shot this video. I mean, who could ever know?

So in the future, you better look out for Dolce if you like super, super nice music. Or if you’re a Jockey who doesn’t want to be featured in a music video.

Stalk or spy on Dolce at Solvalla, Facebook, Spotify and Noisey. They’ll be playing at Umeå Open soon, too, so watch out.
