Hockey fans angry at the result of a fairly-contested sporting event rioted in the streets of Canada last night.
The Canadians – fans of something called “the Vancouver Canucks” – registered their discontent at not winning a game of hockey by burning everything they could see and jumping up and down on anything they couldn’t successfully set fire to.

“Fuck losing!” screamed one Canucks fan, before a riot cop arrived on the scene to fill his eyes with tears and his body with bits of broken bone.
While things like this never happen in the UK, Canadians have a rich history of becoming furious when a team of people who aren’t them wins or loses at something.
