Dance-pop indie-punk Brooklynites Friends are releasing their new album Manifest on the 4th of June and a new single called “Lucky Number” on the 28th of May. However, you don’t have to wait that long to hear some new music from the band, because Noisey is premiering their new video for “Mind Control”. How relieved are you right now?
The video was directed by Hiro Murai and features people being brainwashed or something by a big, old tape machine. There’s also a man smoking (naughty!). It’s like Videodrome or Scanners set to music, except you’re not watching it on a worn-out “VHS”. (An old, black plastic brick that used to play videos on your telly, remember?)
