Shane Deegan is a photographer from London who thought it would be overindulgent to write me a couple of sentences about himself and his work to go with this set of pictures.
So I guess I’d better do it for him: I like Shane’s work because it skirts the edges of honesty and fiction. I never quite know if his shots are staged or if he’s just lucky enough to find himself in the right place, at the right time with a camera pressed to his face.
